The Judd family heads west
The Judd family waited in Council Bluffs for about a month. Those heading to Salt Lake could not leave until the group was large enough to offer protection against the Indians. By the middle of July there were enough Saints to form a company. The name of the company was The Allen Taylor Company. (I found this infomation in Mormon Pioneer Companies Crossing The Plains 1847-1868 -- FHL #289.3016 B291m, 1990 copy 2). I was so happy to find this book!
